the buzz/what’s happening:

My play, TOP GIRL, or the cheerleader play, is one of three staged readings featured in Redtwist Theatre’s 2026 Twisted Playfest! Performances are on July 8th and 12th, and pay-what-you-can tickets are available here.

The 2026 Blue Ink winner (Nia Akilah Robinson, top left), finalists, and semi-finalists (I’m third from the left in the second-to-last row).

TOP GIRL was also named a semi-finalist for American Blues Theater’s 2026 Blue Ink Award! This award was established in 2010 to support original, unpublished plays, and has grown into a nationally recognized platform for playwrights. It’s such an honor to be in the company of so many wonderful playwrights!
